Lessons Learned at Living From Happiness

Many of you are aware that I recently started a new blog this summer called, Living From Happiness.  And as the blog has evolved, I have added some new features such as showcasing my creativity with photography and writing poetry.  And I love to share lessons I have been learning on my journey.

So I thought what better place to post my fall Gardens Lessons Learned post.  This lesson is one I learned from a very tenacious, stubborn and quite perplexing robin….I learn so much from nature and especially wildlife.

I invite you to join me at Living From Happiness to read about the robin’s story.  And I will be continuing my monthly Wildlife Wednesday stories there in the future starting in January.

As I share this story I will be linking in from my new blog to Beth@PlantPostings for her wonderful Garden Lessons Learned meme, Michelle@Rambling Woods for her Nature Notes meme and Saturday’s Critters hosted by Eileen@Viewing nature with Eileen that happens every Saturday.

I hope you will join me in my Seasonal Celebrations meme where we celebrate the new season coming soon to your part of the world.

Just write a post between now and December 21st about how you are celebrating the upcoming season.   Leave a link with your comment on the kick-off post of Seasonal Celebrations-Winter Wonders. I will include your link in my summary post on December 22nd.

Next up on the blog:

Monday I will have another Annual Flower Tale.

You can read my poetry at Living From Happiness on Sundays.  And Thursdays I share some of life’s lessons I am learning.

I am linking in with Michelle for her Nature Notes meme at her new blog just for Nature Notes.  It is a great way to see what is happening in nature around the world every Tuesday.

  1. Your photography just get’s better and better, Donna. That robin is amazing. I read all the posts in your other blog, even though I don’t comment. I’m just popping over there to read this one now. P. x

    1. Thanks Pam for all your support on both blogs and especially knowing you read the new one…hugs galore!!

And I love hearing folks can notice my photography is improving 🙂

  2. I’ve read your new blog Living From Happiness. Love how you named it, we need happiness. The picture of robin is very cute, it’s really winter came to your place, Donna!

    1. Winter is here with a recent storm Nadezda….and I agree we do need more Happiness which is why I started the new blog…glad you enjoyed it!

    1. Oh I am so glad you like the new blog Debbie….and yes she was a very, very persistent robin that we got a lot of merriment from after a while.

  3. Thank you, Donna, for visiting my Tree Following page. What lovely blogs you have … and I’m always surprised at how different your robins are from ours!

    1. Caroline I have thoroughly enjoyed reading about your wonderful tree, the silver birch…we have a similar birch called the paper birch which is native here. As a matter of fact we have a few growing in the wild area behind us…love the white papery bark.

So happy you enjoyed both blogs and our robin…they are quite different than yours. Actually I think our bluebird is a bit more the size and shape of your robin…but I do love your robin too…so cute!

    1. Thanks Debby…I struggle with them as well, but the robins were right in the front garden easy to capture through the window….
