Just a quick word to let you know I have been quite ill recently with some sort of upper respiratory virus. Actually the non-gardener and I have both been ill with this. I have not been around to your blogs nor have I had the strength to write my own. I also haven’t replied to comments lately.
I hope to be on the mend soon so I can get back to writing a post or 2 and reading your wonderful posts. Take Care, Donna
I’ve been missing you too! I do hope you’ll be feeling better soon. I have just gone down with the nth sore throat of the year, I hope mine won’t turn to flu again. Take really good care of yourself, Christina
My gosh, Donna, get better soon. I am so sorry you are ill and wish you a speedy recovery. All the best.
Get well soonest! We’ll be here when you feel like posting.
When we had a touch of the upper respiratory virus that hung on for weeks back in the winter, He-who-mows said, “Is this how colds affect old people?” as we’d not been sick in years. I do think the viruses have mutated into worse illnesses than they used to be.
thank you, dear Donna, for letting us know what is going on. I miss you too, and send you both caring and healing wishes. cheers, cm
I must admit I haven’t been keeping up with things lately, for various minor reasons, but when I saw the email about this post I wanted to send my wishes, feel better soon!
I’m very sorry, Donna. I hope you’ll be well soon.
I thought you were quiet and wondered..Hope you and hubby feel better soon..this weather is not helping…Michelle
We aren’t the ones who need to take care; YOU take care. And get well.
Keep taking the honey, vit C, Zinc and garlic and look forward to your post recovery!
Ah, Donna, feel better soon. Hope you and the non-gardener are able to get plenty of good rest and heal quickly.
Gosh, Donna, I’m so sorry to hear that! I was overloaded with work last week so I was kind of out of the loop, too. Take care of yourself! All of us loyal fans will be anxiously awaiting your return, but take care of your health first. Hugs, Beth
Wishing you a speedy recovery, hoping you’re back on your feet in the garden soon!
Take care Donna. Wishing you a speedy recovery.
I hope you and the non-gardener both recover quickly. I had been wondering about you. Take care.
We feed the Ungardener honegar and vinny when he has a rough throat. Spoonful of apple cider vinegar, and one or 2 of honey in herbal tea (mint, rooibos …)
Life is a bit more difficult if you are both ill. Get well soon!
Sorry to hear that you have been ill. Get better real soon.

Dear Donna, No time is good to be ill but I know how hard it must be for you to be down at this busy time of year. I hope you are feeling better by now and that your are restored to your amazing energetic self pronto! Take care! Be sure it is not Lyme!!! I just enjoyed your article on your discovery of native plants over at Wildlife Gardens. Beautiful!
oh take care of yourself…….tea soup and a good garden mag
Hi Donna,
Sorry to hear you’ve been unwell; I do hope you get better soon and can get out and enjoy your garden.
For now, take it easy and allow yourself to get better. There’s nothing worse than thinking you’re well and then doing too much to then end up back at square one again.
Hope that you feel better soon, that’s a tough one to go through.
