In a Vase on Monday – A Mother’s Love

“We are all children of one great mother, Nature.” — Charles Dickens

It was Mother’s Day in the U.S. yesterday. And I wanted to celebrate a mother many forget to honor, Mother Nature. I do try and honor her everyday, but why not give her another special day.

These little species tulips are the only ones growing in my little garden. A favorite, Little Beauty. Also growing in nicely are the Leucojum aestivum also known as Summer Snowflake. They remind me of giant lily of the valley, and in my garden bloom about the same time.

Still with slim pickings in my garden, I thought, why not put these two lovely flowers in a vase. And here is the result.

I like the cheeriness of this vase as May begins to warm a bit more here in our unusually cool weather.

And in case you m missed it our book is now available in print or ebook through Amazon internationally. I do hope if you love nature, you will pick up a copy and follow along as we contemplate the beauty, wonder and peace of nature. It’s a great book for gardeners and garden and nature lovers.

If you have purchased the book, we would love to have you review the book. Also it would be great to see where in the world our book has traveled, so please do a post on Facebook or Instagram showing us the book (and you too if you feel comfortable), and telling us where in the world you are. Thank you everyone for your continued support.

With this sweet little vase, I am linking in with the wonderful meme, In A Vase On Monday, from Cathy at  Rambling in the Garden. All the pictures shared in this post were taken with my Nikon Coolpix or iPhone camera.
