Peace On Earth

“Peace on earth will come to stay, when we live Christmas every day.” ~ Helen Steiner Rice

It can hard to imagine Peace on Earth these days. But I will always hope. Even in my sad heart, with my grief that still comes this time of year especially. So on this beautiful Christmas Day, no matter who you are. What you do for a living, your race, religion, sexual orientation and any of the other things that seem to divide us. I send you my wish for love and light because none of these things should divide us. Fill your heart with love and light today, and pass it on!

I wasn’t expecting to have a vase for today. But my amazing husband (let me count the ways), surprised me with beautiful red roses.

I found a cozy spot on the table amongst the holiday decorations.

Oh the color evokes such deep love.

I am definitely feeling that love….love of family, friends, self, nature, the earth. And you dear readers. Thank you for a wonderful year of readership of my blog. Here’s to many more. I will have a new post on New Year’ Day 2024 to share my thoughts for the new year.

Sending much love and Peace on Earth today and always!

With this vase, I am joining in with the wonderful meme, In A Vase On Monday, from Cathy at  Rambling in the Garden. Thank you Cathy for this lovely meme and for you! Sending you much love!

  1. They may not be from your own plot, Donna, but they came from the heart and fit so well with your Christmas tableau. Best wishes to you and your family

  2. Thanks for the thoughtful post, wishing you all the best for the new year. Hope dies last so I’ll continue to believe that it’ll work out okay in the end…must admit it takes longer than I thought 😉
