“April is the kindest month. April gets you out of your head and out working in the garden.” ~ Marty Rubin
April is designated as National Garden Month and National Poetry Month. Two of my greatest passions. An avid gardener since my 30s, and a poet since I was 14, I find great joy in these creative endeavors.
Help me welcome April by embracing your creative passions. This picture was taken during the February full moon as it shown down on my frosty, snowy back garden. It is so magical.
All the pictures shared in this post were taken with my Nikon Coolpix or iPhone camera.

Your poetry selection’s perfect. Robert Louis Stevenson’s “A Child’s Garden of Verses” was one of my favorites in childhood.
So pleased. Thank you!
Moonlight sparkling on snow is a favorite of mine.
It is magical.
Happy April, Donna! I love your beautiful photo with the quote. <3
Thanks Beth. It was surreal. Wishing you a magical April.
