“Every sunset is an opportunity to reset. Every sunrise begins with new eyes.”
― Richie Norton
I am on a journey right now to reset my life. It’s hard to express what that will encompass, but it will be a long journey of starts and restarts. Much needed and something I have been awaiting for a number of years. That might mean this blog changes, but maybe not.

Anyway, this is my blog anniversary (September 13). I started this blog in 2010, 16 years ago, to have a place to write about my life lessons using what I was learning in my garden. I am thinking about getting back to that. We shall see.

My husband brought home these dark blood orange roses from the grocery store. I had never seen anything like them.

That color is amazing. I wanted to use them to symbolize the reset. If you are a longtime reader of the blog, you may remember how much I love the symbolism of colors. Orange is a great symbol for creativity, vitality, joy and spiritual awakening. Perfect!
With this vase, I am linking in with the wonderful meme, In A Vase On Monday, from Cathy at Rambling in the Garden.

Happy blog anniversary, Donna! You got your start just a few months before I did it seems. I’ll be interested to see how your blog evolves as you explore next steps.
Thanks. I am excited for this reset!
Happy blogiversary, Donna! Wishing you all the best moving forward.
Thanks so much Eliza!
That is an unusual colour for a rose, Donna, and so striking. Best wishes for your reset, and thanks for sharing your thoughts with us
My pleasure. And I agree. Such a striking color.
Cheers to you, Donna! Congratulations on your blogoversary! We started our blogs around the same time. Resets are refreshing. Even a break for a week or two renews my brain and enthusiasm. <3
Agreed. We all need a reset from time to time. Thanks so much.
Congratulations on you blog anniversary Donna! It made me think how long I have been doing this… not quite as long as you, but almost!! It’s a lovely way to connect to people and I wish you all the best with any changes you make in the future.
Thanks so much Cathy! It is a great way to connect.
